Ard Rock Festival 24-26th July 2026

The Ard Rock Biking Festival descends on the Dales Bike Centre on the 24th through to the 26th July this year, set in the stunning scenery of Swaledale.

The Ard Rock events feature a mix of roller coaster-like flow trails and totally unique rocky downhill sections.

Entertainment

Live Music in the event village, a pump track, airbag jumps, demo loops, kids skills coaching and racing, run by the Hope Academy crew, and other activities to keep you entertained.

Food & Drink

There's an outdoor street food area or you can grab a bite to eat at the fantastic Dales Bike Centre Cafe. If those don't tickle your fancy there's always a local pub that might. Whatever you want they've got you covered with a wide range of options from Pizzas and Greek Salad to high-quality coffee, to keep you refuelled all through the weekend.

Camping & Parking

Camping and parking are a stone’s throw away from all the activities, set in the picturesque green meadow fields under the legendary Fremington Edge hillside.

Races

24th July Ard Rock Epic

The full 45km loop taking in all of the Ard Rock stages. The Epic is a challenge event that can be ridden as a continuous loop or Enduro.

25th July Enduro

A Special 45km Loop with seven timed downhill stages, aimed at competitive riders who want to post Fast times

25th July Sprint Enduro

This is a shorter 30km loop, using 3 of the steepest and most technical Ard Rock stages. The sprint is open to riders aged 14 and over

26th July Bosch eMTB Enduro

45km with seven timed stages, the eMTB category is a huge day our on the main Enduro Course.

26th July Sport Enduro

45km course with seven timed stages, like the Enduro but for riders seeking less time pressure, with their main aim to complete the challenge.

26th July Intro Enduro

This is a 30km loop with four timed downhill stages on the fastest 'flow trails' at Ard Rock. A great intro for first timers.

More Riding

In addition to the racing, there are hundreds of kilometres of trails in the local area, along with special practice and demo stages for racers to warm up on and ride. Make a full weekend of it.
