From our picturesque village location in Burley you’ll be able to cycle along our famous Old Railway, visit the Deer Sanctuary, enjoy the Woodland Trails and expect a great chance of seeing Deer and other forest wildlife. On the majority of our routes you can relax at a real forest inn, or indulge in a sumptuous cream tea in one of the many welcoming tea rooms, all in the most stunning New Forest scenery. In particular our choice of 9 cycle rides provide the very best cycling conditions for families, inexperienced and ‘born again’ cyclists! All our routes can be extended to provide a challenge for the more adventurous cyclists.

Lymington

Lymington is a port town that connects the New Forest to the Isle of Wight via a Car Ferry service.

Lyndhurst

Known as the capital of the New Forest, this historic village in Hampshire serves as the administration hub of the national park and offers a bustling High Street filled with independent boutiques, cozy pubs, and cafés, all surrounded by ancient woodland trails.

Beaulieu

Beaulieu is a fantastic village in the New Forest, home to the National Motor Museum and Beaulieu Abbey

​Beaulieu National Motor Museum 

The National Motor Museum has one the finest collections of cars, motorcycles and motoring memorabilia in the world. From F1 cars and land speed record breakers to incredible examples of pioneering engineering motors, it has everything you could want to see with regard to motoring.

Palace House

Once the gate house to Beaulieu Abbey, it had been the Montagu family home since 1538. It was remodelled in the 1800's and is a great example of a Victorian country house.

Fordingbridge

Known as the northern gateway to the New Forest, Fordingbridge, is a small riverside town. Built on the banks of the River Avon. A distinctive seven arch medieval bridge built in 1252, one of only two in the country with seven arches. If you wish for a fanastic  long walk our Avon Valley Map covers the entire  34 mile Valley Walk from Christchurch  to Salisbury. Fordingbridge is in the middle and a great place to start from.

Brockenhurst

Brockenhurst is a picturesque village in the heart of the New Forest National Park in Hampshire, England. Famous for its free-roaming ponies and donkeys, it offers a blend of ancient woodlands, traditional country pubs, and easy outdoor access, making it a popular base for exploring the area.

Home to the Old Railway Cycle Route, this bike ride takes you along 'Castleman’s Corkscrew', a disused railway line so called because of the shape it cut across the forest and Charles Castleman who promoted it. It goes from Brockenhurst to Burley.

Ringwood

The historic Market Town of Ringwood has held a strategic importance to the area since the 13th century, it was awarded its royal market charter in 1226 and has held a Wednesday market there for 800 years. From initially using the river connection as a trading link to then having the Victorian Railway, now with excellent Road Access due to being at the cross roads of the A31 and A338, allowing for quick access to Southampton, Poole, Salisbury and Bournemouth.

Buckler's Hard

On the banks of the Beaulieu River, in the heart of the New Forest, you will find the peaceful haven of Buckler's Hard which remains untouched by the passage of time.

Once a thriving shipbuilding village where ships for Nelson's fleet at Trafalgar were built, now Buckler's Hard is a tranquil haven, perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of modern life.

Discover the history of the village in the Maritime Museum, take a step inside a historic shipwight's cottage, or simply amble down the high street to watch the boats sailing by on the Beaulieu River, where you can catch a river cruise from Easter to October.
