ABOUT US
At Heritage House we love things English, heritage and quirky. Walking maps and cycle maps are our passion, and our growing range covers some of the most scenic areas of England, perfect for active staycations. All our maps are based on Ordnance Survey cartography and are produced using local knowledge and packed with detail to help you get the most from your stay.
We're also proud to promote a range of local experts and operators on our resources tab, all of who make welcoming walkers and cyclists their business.
WALKING MAPS
All our walking maps are checked by local walkers and based on Ordnance Survey cartography under licence. Each features a selection of walks, from short family strolls to longer hikes, taking in the highlights of each area: from windswept coastal walks and trails through nature reserves to forest rambles and walks in the footsteps of famous people.
CYCLE MAPS
Our cycle maps are drawn at a helpful large scale and include a selection of routes, recommended and researched by local cycle operators and shown on Ordnance Survey sourced mapping. They also show all the cycle rights of way and lots of other useful information like national routes, cycle marker posts car parks, bus stops, footpaths, town plans, pubs and visitor attractions.
BESPOKE MAPS
Using Ordnance Survey cartography, we can supply mapping at any size and scale for use in printed publications and on websites. We work extensively with local authorities, particularly in light of the Definitive Map changes due in 2026, as well as local businesses. We can also provide copywriting, design and proofreading services to ensure your publication is of the highest standard.
