of books, guides, maps and street plans enabling visitors
to East Anglia and to the New Forest to discover the
special beauty and interest of these regions of the
UK. Other books published cover such diverse topics
as vegetarian cookery and barging life from 1780 to
1929!
Heritage House also acts as a distributor for Jardine
Press, whose books feature lino cuts by James Dodds,
watercolours by his late father, Andrew Dodds, and poetry
by one of the UK’s foremost contemporary poets,
Martin Newell. Many of the books display an intimate
knowledge of East Anglia, its landscape and its legends,
and contain a strong nautical theme reflecting James
Dodds’ early training in the shipwright’s
trade.
